I don't believe in rushing a piece just to finish it. whether it's a painting, a brand, or an illustration, I'd rather sit with something a little longer and get it right than ship something fast and forgettable.
every project starts as a conversation — I want to understand what you're actually trying to say before I put anything on the page.

I'm not precious about being the most experienced person in the room. right now I'm a student in two directions at once - still refining my craft, still working through the theory of flight - and I like it that way.
good work comes from being honest about what you don't know yet, and staying curious enough to find out.
